There are fluorescent glow lights, however a lot of people use these for smaller, short spaces.
When I made the choice to start a cultivation facility, I genuinely did not think it through! I just decided I wanted to grow marijuana & sell it for recreational purposes only. I picked up the seeds, the Heating & A/C equipment, the facility & thought that was it. I have run into quite a few roadblocks though, then the main one I have to say is the lighting aspect of having pot, then first, the Heating & A/C settings for growing marijuana is pretty easy. You want around 75 degrees while in the afternoon & 50 degrees at night. I was smart & got a ductless Heating & A/C device with a smart control unit. I have a typical program set & I now don’t worry about climate control. The control device knows when to supply heating & cooling, and my plants are wonderful to go. The number one problem has now fallen into lighting, but what kind of lighting do marijuana growing facilities use? I have found a wide variety of answers! Light rooms for growing officially use a combination of red-orange light along with darkness. Most of the time this is a 12 hour split for which one to use; Some people commanded over 18 hours of light to produce a better vegetation cycle. I also have found people on the web using all sorts of different lights. There are fluorescent glow lights, however a lot of people use these for smaller, short spaces. The lights don’t use much electricity & are literally inches from the pot. Apparently greater lights and the stronger ones tend to burn young plants. Some people like HID lights due to their efficiency & capability to assist flowering plants. Which one do I choose?
