I am a fifth generation farmer, but my family has been in the farming business, ever since the 1670’s.
My Mom and Mom ran a successful farm for 40 years, before they retired and gave it to me and our sibling.
My parents had thoUSAnds of ccres, and we grew potatoes, corn, tomato, and apricots… When our mom and Mom retired, they obtained a thoUSAnd acres next to our East fence. I thought they were going to plant more corn, however they had something strange in mind. When they retired, they gave us the land lease and a book on marijuana farming. It was a big encyclopedia full of information of marijuana farming and horticulture, and the thing is enormous, however it will come in handy as a great desk reference guide. I thought our sibling was going to faint, and I was particularly surprised too. I thought our mom and Mom were joking, however they were particularly serious. They already had a soil test performed on the land, and they applied for the necessary permits. My mom and Mom told us the land was our future, and our future was going to be in marijuana farming. I don’t recognize anything at all about marijuana farming, and neither does our sibling. I’m also going to attend a pot farmers convention in March. I should learn a lot from that experience. The two of us have a lot of labor to do before we can even guess about planting the first seed. I never thought our parents would supply us such a large surprise. I guess it will be a great adventure.
